Baby girl is 4

Baby girl turned 4 a couple weeks ago and we had her party today. She wanted a Barbie Rocket Ship party. Hmm, hard to figure that one out since she rarely plays with Barbie. She is so obviously a girl with an older brother, and I love it.

I can't believe that Tessa is 4! I feel like I blinked and she went from sweet baby to funny little girl. It makes me so thankful to be a stay at home mom. This time goes so quickly and I am so grateful for it!

Lately

We've had some fun times lately as a family and with friends. Tully has learned to ride a bike, and he started piano lessons. Both kids are in swim lessons and summer is quickly approaching. 

We have been to Pebble Beach with the Siecks, camped out in Ballard, gone to cheer for Lyndsey at the roller derby and last weekend went camping at Kern River with the McCraws. We are reminded how blessed we are to have such a great group of friends for our kids to grow up alongside.

As Matt and I continue to wait on God to show us how HE wants us to grow our family, I am reminded today that I am BLESSED. BEYOND. MEASURE. 

I have been so amazed at my kids the last couple of weeks. When did they get so big and become so grown up? When did Tully become SO funny? When did Tessa stop being a baby and become the little girl who raises her hand at Sunday school and waits to be called on? Every day is more fun then the one before and at the same time I want to hang on to each moment and freeze time.
