Disneyland

Every May we go to Disneyland with Matt's Mom, Step-dad and the Clarks. This year May was rainy and we had just had a baby so we rescheduled for June. We went Fathers day weekend and had so much fun! I was a little worried about taking a 10 week old baby but Beck has been so easy so far and he did great the whole time we were there.

This year was a little different. The kids really liked almost all of the rides now that they are older and our first night there Matt kept Tully and Jack out until the park closed at midnight. They went on Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion and all the scary rides that the girls might not want to go on. The second night everyone stayed until the park closed, again until midnight! We were all just a bit tired but went again the whole next day. Grace and Tully were tall enough to go on California Screaming and they both loved it. I'm not sure how it's possible that a son of mine would enjoy a roller coaster that goes upside down, but he does. At least I still have Beck to go on Small World with me for a few more years. Tessa's favorite ride was Splash Mountain, and Jack decided that he doesn't care for The Tower Of Terror.
It's so fun to have cousins that are so close in age and that are best friends!

This is what happens that when you stay up too late...

Ready to go again the next morning!

Tessa turns 5 the Pinkalicious way!

Tessa turned 5 at the end of May. I can't believe what a beautiful, fun, sassy, determined, little girl she has become. She is always full of surprises, quick to give a hug and a mix of shy and outgoing that I still haven't figured out. Her favorite person in the world is her big brother, with Daddy as a close second.

This year she requested a "Pinkalicious" birthday party. It was a lot easier to find ideas for that then it was for last years "Space Barbie Party." We started the morning off with pink pancakes and then started getting ready. Tessa really wanted to decorate the whole house but we settled for streamers on the deck. We decorated crowns, painted nails, made necklaces, and of course - decorated cupcakes!!
Of course the wind was blowing like crazy so we had to make a few last minute changes but all in all it was a really fun party :)

Gracie gave Tess her own makeup for her birthday. She was SO excited!
